About the Event

DIOA 2020 Annual Conference Denver, CO

“The future of Industrial Participation… gold rush or rocky times ahead”

We are excited to announce the dates and venue for the 2020 DIOA conference. The Renaissance Marriott, located within downtown Denver’s former Colorado National Bank building, one of Colorado’s most beautiful and historic buildings and will host the annual DIOA conference from March 3-5th, 2020This is an exciting venue and a great time to visit Colorado. With another year down, we will have over 620 years of offset experience in attendance and we are looking forward to the opportunity to benefit from the candid and interactive subject matter presentations, along with in-depth training and networking opportunities.

We will continue to focus on fostering the industry and USG engagements on the challenges of offsets and the international markets. We are committed to bringing you value by facilitating interactions and training opportunities that are focused on quality, candidness, and collaboration. We will also be concentrating on meaningful and in-depth focus areas for experienced offset practitioners.

By coming together, we have the unique opportunity to share knowledge and experiences that help each of us and our companies to be successful. DIOA as the leading offset organization providing training, knowledge transfer and resources is dedicated solely to US obligors and the USG. The main conference will begin at 1:00pm on Wednesday, March 4th and finish with a closing reception the evening of Thursday, March 5th.  Details on the training portion of the conference can be found below.

USG Offset Working Group Industry meeting to be held at DIOA Denver Confrence-

DIOA and AIA are pleased to announce that the U.S. Government Offsets Working Group will be holding an executive level meeting with Industry in conjuction with the 2020 DIOA Conference in Denver CO.

The U.S. Government re-established an interagency offsets working group to address global offset issues.  U.S. Industry, through the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), has briefed the USG on offset challenges across multiple countries.  The USG, in increasing its involvement with offset issues, would like to provide this opportunity for DIOA members to gain a better understanding of their efforts in Industry’s offset challenges. In addition, this meeting will provide a forum to discuss how industry and USG can work together to address offset issues around the world. (This special session will be limited to two members from each member company.)

Additionally, the USG and DIOA will be hosting a townhall meeting open to all confrence participants. The event will give USG representatives and Industry representatives the opportunity to openly discuss the challenges we are all facing and the roles everyone plays.

As a result of this addition, we are expecting one of the highest involvment of USG representatives we have ever had. In fact, our general registrations to date is one of the highest we have ever seen this early making this a not-to-miss event for all members!
