Due to the unwavering commitment and sponsorship from Fried Frank, HNBA YLD can host this workshop free of charge.

Originally scheduled to take place at Fordham Law School, HNBA YLD moved the event to a virtual setting to promote and practice social distancing.

For the purpose of simplicity, HNBA YLD divided the program into a two-section webinar:

Thursday, April 9, 2020 between 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m EST.

Webinar Presentation by Lourdes Olvera-Marshall, Esq., Global Manager of Diversity & Inclusion at Fried Frank, NYU Adjunct Professor, and Executive Coach.

Stay Connected: Virtual Networking Through Confinement
Now that social distancing is our new normal, it is essential that professionals and business leaders acquire and apply the right tools to network successfully in a virtual world.  This interactive webinar will cover networking techniques during times of crisis and confinement - despite being behind closed doors, there is no better time than now for reaching out to your network to offer support, seek advice, generate new collaborations, and grow your social capital.

Wednesday, April 15, 2020 between 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m EST.

Webinar Presentation by Ellie Nieves, Esq., Leadership Speaker & Coach, Leadership Strategies for Women, LLC.

The "It" Factor: Executive Presence
Executive presence is the “it” factor often categorized as a leadership aura or confidence that a leader exudes. Developing executive presence is key for leaders. Executive presence communicates power and influence. It also supports a leader’s credibility and inspires others to have confidence in their ability to lead. In this seminar participants will learn how to command the respect of their constituents and colleagues. After completing the seminar, participants will be better able to identify the key components of executive presence, assess their present executive image, and apply proven body language techniques that exude confidence.
