The purpose of this and all other forthcoming seminars in the Demystifying Cannabis series is to spread new knowledge gained in this field and to make it known to legal experts as well as other experts, policy-makers and the general public in Slovenia.
World’s leading experts in this field will be presenting latest findings on the use of cannabis for medical purposes in different countries around the world (Israel, Canada, USA) and after the lectures and the debate, answer your questions.
Having top experts among us, we would like to develop a constructive debate, which will help shape the best models of treatment with cannabis, uses and availability of this invaluable medicine in Slovenia.

FIST - Human Rights Association Even though the so-called western democracies like to brag about the human rights protection and fundamental freedoms, human rights in the »democratic« world are increasingly proving to be just a dead letter. Human rights protection is particularly important nowadays, when human rights are curtailed in every field, while we are at the same time being told that all this is for our own good. One of the basic human rights is the right to live in a healthy environment and the right to self-treatment! The ban of cannabis is one of the most serious violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms, especially now that we are aware of the endocannabinoid system and its importance. That is why we will continue to invest all our efforts and all our forces for making cannabis available as tretament to everyone, in the health system but also as self-treatment.
