Defensive Pistol Skills: Shooting and Moving
Instructor: Will Garrett
Cost: $50.00. A $10.00 deposit reserves your spot. Remaining balance due the day of class, to be paid by cash only.
This fast-paced 4-hour course is intended to instill in students the skill of incorporating movement while shooting.
The Shooting and Moving course forgoes typical static shooting drills, in order to maximize the amount of time spent on the move. Students will be trained on:

• Forward and Rear Movement
• Lateral Movement
• Oblique Movement
• Movement around Obstacles
• Moving Off The Line of Attack
• Moving to and from Cover
• Speed of Movement vs. Accuracy of Fire
• Two-Man Movement (Time permitting)

As this is not a basic-level class, students should already possess formal firearms training and have a solid understanding of safe firearms handling.

Students will need to bring the following:

• Quality Semi-Auto Pistol with a holster that is designed for the firearm that is being used. Nylon holsters are not permitted. Holsters that require the use of the trigger finger to release the firearm (Serpa, etc) are not permitted.
• A sturdy belt with a magazine pouch, and at least 2 spare magazines (4 if using a single-stack firearm).
• At least 200 rounds of quality, factory-loaded ammunition.
• Eye and Ear Protection (Electronic hearing protection recommended).
• Suitable Clothing (We shoot rain or shine) with comfortable footwear.
• Snacks and drinks.
