Regional Deeper Learning Conference for the Northeast

Deeper Learning begins with reimagining traditional learning through immersive experiences—especially in the outdoors and with the arts. Our conference theme, A Nexus of Opportunity: Radical Imagination for Learning, recognizes the unique moment we are living in to create transformative learning experiences. Whether you are inspired by the outdoors, the arts, a new piece of technology, or an innovative curriculum—finding ways to think beyond our typical limits can lead to radically new outcomes for youth and families.

Share space with regional change-makers ready to explore place-based learning, environmental justice, and creativity through the arts. We will bring a regional spin to dialogue, reflection, and inspiration that are part of the original Deeper Learning conference with teachers, educational leaders, facilitators, and artists from Boston and the surrounding Northeast region. We're excited to partner with Hale Education in hosting this inaugural Deeper Learning Boston conference in Westwood and Dover, MA. The DL Boston Experience will take place at Hale's 1,000-acre outdoor campus and at the Westwood High School campus.

Follow the “rule of two feet.” Use your two feet to go where you think you will learn something interesting. Please feel free to walk into classrooms and observe.

Ask for help. Ask anyone for help, including staff and students. Every school has a Site Manager at the front desk who can help point you in the right direction.

Be respectful. If you are about to enter a classroom and you notice that four or five visitors are already there, please consider coming back later. Always make sure there are HTH staff present in the room when you interact with students.

Visitors may take photographs (without flash) and video for personal, non-commercial use of:
