Before Herbalife, Tea was a college student pursing an MBA degree and working as a graduate assistant for the Division I tennis team at Universty of Central Arkansas. She was on a partial scholarship and desperately needed an extra $500 to pay for her tuition bill.

A friend of hers who was in a similar situation than joined Herbalife and she was posting about it on Facebook. Tea says "I just didn't know what Herbalife was neither did I think to ask about it. However, one day she called me and over the phone briefly mentioned I can make supplemental income. She had my attention and I joined Herbalife.
