Butte County Posse , 1220 Openshaw Road , Oroville, CA, 95965, United States.

This fundraising event is to benefit the Butte County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse and is being co-hosted by the Posse and Butte County Sheriff Kory Honea. The event has a limited number of participants and is open exclusively to individuals who hold a valid CCW permit issued by the Butte County Sheriff’s Office.

Participants will have the rare opportunity at the training facility used by BCSO deputies, receive instruction on home defense and the safe handling use of a firearm from the BCSO SWAT team.  

Butte County Sheriff Mounted Posse

The Butte County Sheriff's Mounted Posse is an auxiliary unit of the Butte County (CA) Sheriff's Office. The Posse is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, established to support the mission of the Butte County Sheriff's Office and serve the citizens of Butte County.
