Model, Measure, and Prioritize Your Risk in Dollars and Cents
Learn a common language and framework that allows information security professionals, senior executives, and independent directors to communicate and partner effectively to manage cybersecurity risk.
This workshop is designed to introduce information security professionals, senior executives, and independent directors to the current state-of-the-art in measuring information risk in financial terms. Participants will acquire the foundational skills used to identify, assess, and communicate risk in business terms using a common vocabulary and methodology through demonstration and hands-on exercises.

Foresight Resilience Strategies empowers organizations in their efforts to increase cyber resilience by helping them quantify their information risk in the same business terms they use to measure their overall effectiveness. These terms are often financial, but may also include other business and outcome measures related to mission and goals. By applying common business measures to information risk, our clients are able to better prioritize their efforts, allocate their resources, and maintain internal alignment with their primary objectives.
Adam is the Founder and CEO of Foresight Resilience Strategies. A recognized expert in cybersecurity risk management, Adam is a sought after speaker on issues related to cybersecurity, international trade, and intellectual property. Before starting Foresight, Adam worked in the Obama Administration’s White House and at the Commerce Department. He is an attorney, having received his JD from Washington University in St. Louis and is a member of the DC Bar. Adam’s undergraduate degree is in Chinese language from Georgetown University.
Sridevi Joshi is the CTO of Foresight Resilience Strategies. Sridevi has fifteen plus years of experience in technology having worked in companies like Rockwell Semiconductors and Broadcom. She also has extensive leadership and operational experience. Prior to joining the Foresight team, Sridevi was a co-Director in a start-up shaping it’s growth and setting up key processes that helped lead the company to maturity. Sridevi received her Bachelor of Technology from IIT – Chennai and holds a double Masters from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. She also holds a certificate in CyberSecurity from George Washington University in the District of Columbia.
William is Co-founder and COO of Foresight Resilience Strategies, bringing more than 20 years’ experience as an executive leader of rapid growth companies. At Foresight he oversees product strategy and operations with a focus on growth and client engagement. He was an early champion and speaker on the use of analytics and dashboards to foster organizational alignment and support a culture of continuous improvement in financial services, education, healthcare, supply chain, transportation and government. As an undergraduate William studied mathematics and computer science at MIT, and English literature and theater at Oberlin College. He holds an MFA from California Institute of the Arts and has completed additional graduate courses and certificate programs in business, operations research, data science, and supply chain management.
