Cumberland Trail Work Day at Paradise - Limit of 20

Date - Saturday March 21, 2020

Time - 9:00 to 2:00 or as long as you like

Location - Barker Camp Trail Head (35.2714, -85.2850) Click HERE for map. This is roughly a 50 minute drive from downtown Chatt.

Parking - There are only enough parking spots for 15 cars and it is a rough dirt road for the last 1/2 mile is not 4WD but a slow ride and a bit more clearance is prefered. PLEASE CARPOOL. If you get there after 9:15, the gate will be locked and you will have to walk the 1/2 mile to the lower lot.

The Hike - From the lower lot, we will hike about 2 miles to the work site. If you arrive late, just follow the blue blazed trail (not the road past the gate). Once at the big rock overhang, hike over the bridge and follow the trail until you meet the rest of us. 

What To Bring - Gloves, sturdy hiking or work boots, water, snacks and please bring your own pick maddock and/or rock bar if you have.
