In this session you will learn some accessible postures to relieve tension, as well as how to use breath to support your health and well-being, plus how to completely relax to rejuvenate and nourish your nervous system. We will use either the floor or a chair depending on what you have available and your ability to get up and down easily.

Inspired by choreography and scientific research created with Jack Philp Dance, this workshop will guide you through new ways of moving, using sound and emotion as our stimulus. The workshop will provide you with fun improvisation tools to move in new ways and learn about drawing with your body, as well as offer space to immerse ourselves in personal and creative play. There will be time for shared discussion and throughout the workshop you will be supported to take your movement to wherever feels best, whether it be gentle or vigorous, this workshop is designed so that you can access the moving in a way which suits you and your needs. We hope that you will leave this session feeling inspired and creative.
