Creating Art with horses. 

 

Day 1 Thursday, June 21:

Meet and Greet dinner at Phoenix Restaurant at 7pm. Veronica will discuss our schedule for the weekend. (No Host Dinner)

Day 2 Friday, June 22:

Morning we will be photographing cowboys and cowgirls with an amazing backdrop of rock formations. 

Afternoon we will be discussing editing techniques for Black and White photos while enjoying lunch from Mother's Cafe. Vegan, veterinarian meals available. 

Evening we will be photographing horses at liberty and portrait style at Central Oregon Rescue, portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Rescue.  Afterwards we will go to El Caporal for dinner. (No Host Dinner) 

Day 3 Saturday, June 23: 

Morning we will be photographing horses at liberty, there will be multiply breeds of horses to photography.

Afternoon we will be discuss how to use textures and painted backgrounds painted.  Veronica will discuss her steps for creating images from beginning to ending. While editing  you will be enjoying lunch form Mother's Cafe. Vegan, veterinarian meals available.

Evening we will be photographing beautiful Gypsy Drums and Clydesdales at Story Hill Farms.  Dinner will be at El Caporal. (No Host Dinner) 

Day 4 Sunday, June 24:

Meet for breakfast to say goodbye. (No Host Breakfast).

Workshop location Bend, OR, closest airport Redmond, Oregon (RDM) 20 min drive from Bend. 

Activity Level:

Walking will be involved. Small hike Friday morning, stairs to studio, otherwise easy activity level. 

Recommended Gear:

A DSLR camera, A telephoto Lens 70-200mm, wide angle for scenic photos on Friday.  

Lots of memory cards.  Laptop, memory card reader, and hardware to backup images. 

Please make sure your software is up to date. 

Recommended Software will be mention in welcome packet.

Cancel 6 months before workshop full refund. Cancel 3 months before workshop 50% refund. 

Cancel 2 month before workshop 25% refund.  Cancel within 1 month of workshop no refund.

When not behind the camera, my passion for horses continues. I started riding horses at the age of three—it’s where my introduction to and my love of horses began—and today trail riding riding my favorite paint, Baby, remains my favorite pastime.
