Long Island University - CW Post , 720 Northern Blvd, , Brookville, NY , 11548, United States.

This workshop focuses on how to use the attributes of quality described in Ensuring High Quality Curriculum: How to Design, Revise or Adopt Curriculum Aligned to Student Success (ASCD) by LCI consultant, Angela Di Michele Lalor, to create a curriculum that develops the academic, social and emotional attributes of the students they serve. As a quality curriculum serves as a go-to document that teachers use to help make informed and purposeful decisions about what happens in the classroom, it makes sense to ensure these documents align to what is valued in schools.

In this interactive workshop, participants review examples of how schools have ensured what they value for students becomes an integral part of learning and examine strategies they can use to ensure the same for their own students.
