Chirag K Baxi, General Manager, Accord Specialities Contracting LLC on the topic “Corrosion Protection for Structural Concrete and Steelwork – Care and cure with case studies” scheduled on Tuesday, March 19th 2024 at 7:30pm.
The webinar will address the causes and effects of corrosion on concrete and steel structures, protection methodologies, damage assessment and rehabilitation.
Structural corrosion can be caused by many known and unknown sources and can be quite complex to decipher, which may cause a challenge for Structural Engineers to device their protection measures. Even after implementing protection measures, structures may be subjected to further corrosion damage. In such cases, a systematic damage assessment is required followed by structural rehabilitation.
The webinar will shed the light on common causes of corrosion in structures, recommended protection procedures, as well provide guidance on condition assessment and rehabilitation with practical case studies.
