IStructE UAE Regional Group Committee is inviting you to a panel discussion on the topic "Reusing and extending Dubai's existing building stock" moderated by Will Arnold, Head of Climate Action – IStructE, to be held at Taj Dubai, Business Bay, Dubai on the 13th of December 2023.
The discussion will include the following elite panelists:
· Paul Simmonite - Associate Director, Arup
· Sandra Woodall - Design Director, tangramMENA
· Sophia Kee - Head of Future Ready, WSP in the Middle East
· Mohamad Al-Dah - Survey Director, Real Estate Registration Sector, Dubai Land Department
The programme for the event is scheduled as follows:
· 8.30-9.30 – Breakfast networking
· 9.00-9.05 – Introduction
· 9.05-9.20 – Keynote presentation (the need for retrofit)
· 9.20-9.50 – Panellist introductions (5 minutes each introductory statements)
· 9.50-10.20 – Networking break
· 10.20-11.20 – Panel discussion (how do we unlock retrofit in the UAE?) and audience Q&A
· 11.20-11.30 – Closing remarks
