Michael Glover (OGC)

Wednesday, August 7, 2019, 1-2pm, Alumni Center, Columbus Place, 6th Floor

All agreements between the University and vendors and other service providers involve some level of risk.  Whether it’s risk of poor performance, financial loss, bodily injury, property damage or some other loss, understanding how these risks are addressed in a contract can help you determine whether the University’s risk under the contract is appropriate and that you aren’t caught by surprise by a particular contract term in the unlikely event of a problem or dispute.  This seminar is ideal for employees who negotiate and review contracts with service providers and vendors for their department.  Please feel free to submit any questions in advance to Mike Glover (m.glover@northeastern.edu).  Your questions will enhance the discussion and learning for all.

Please feel free to bring your lunch to this event.
