Join BTD for a ride through the Connect Historic Boston project area and beyond.

Connect Historic Boston is an initiative between the City of Boston and the National Park Service to link historic sites through downtown Boston. While construction on the full project continues, we'll be able to take folks on a ride of the substantially-complete bike trail.
We plan to leave from South Station. The ride will take approximately an hour, with a few stops to discuss the project. We will end near a Red Line T stop.

Don't have a bike? A limited number of Blue Bikes will be available. Please be sure to register if you want to ride a Blue Bike. Registration is optional for riders who have their own bikes, but does help us in planning. All riders will need to sign a waiver. Helmets will be required.

Boston Bikes is part of the City of Boston’s vision for a vibrant and healthy city that benefits all its citizens. It seeks to make Boston a world-class bicycling city by creating safe and inviting conditions for all residents and visitors. Boston Bikes focuses on improvements in all six universal bike planning areas: Engineering, Enforcement, Education, Encouragement, Equity, and Evaluation. The Boston by Bike(share) is a series of rides that introduce residents to our fun, fast and affordable public bike share system. Participants will learn how the bike share system works, and go on a short ride to visit great public spaces that are easy to access by Blue Bikes!
