Our Concealment Skills class is intended for the armed citizen who carries their firearm concealed from public view, during the course of their day.

This 4-hour class will be conducted and run entirely from concealment, and students should attend using their normal “EDC” (Every Day Carry) setup. The class will focus on the mechanics of drawing a firearm from concealment, and getting it “into the fight” as quickly and safely as possible.

This is not a beginner’s class or a concealed handgun permit class. Students should already have basic handgun knowledge and training. Students who practice unsafe weapons handling will be removed from the class.

Concealment Skills 1 will cover:

·         Safety and Medical brief

·         Gear and Clothing Considerations

·         Drawing and Reholstering from Concealment

·         Reloading from Concealment

·         Malfunction Clearing

·         Moving with the Gun Drawn

·         Moving to Cover and Concealment

·         Shooting from Cover and Concealment

·         Unconventional Shooting Positions

·         Justification for the Use of Deadly Force

·         Post-shooting Procedures

Students will need:

·         Quality pistol with at least two spare magazines (the more, the better)

·         Appropriate outside or inside-the-waistband holster. Shoulder/Cross-draw & Nylon holsters will not be permitted.

·         Suitable concealment clothing

·         A minimum of 300 rounds of ammunition

·         Eye and ear protection

·         Sun screen and insect repellent

·         Weather-appropriate clothing

·         Snacks and method of hydration

Students will receive a certificate upon completion. This class meets the requirements for a Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit.
