Information Sessions

Join Ebony West and Sarah Guidi, Triange Community Foundation's program staff to learn more about the program, how to apply, and ask questions about the application process. We will host our first information session at The Frontier Classroom (800 Park Offices Drive, Research Triangle Park) on August 12 from 1-2:30pm.

Community Development Program

Triangle Community Foundation is excited to announce and invite you to apply for funding through our Community Development Grants Program.

Thousands of our region’s residents have difficulty meeting basic needs such as housing, healthcare, and employment. We cannot have a thriving Triane gle if we leave some behind. Through flexible, two-year grant funding, Triangle Community Foundation seeks to support nonprofit organizations that are addressing symptoms or root causes of poverty and helping create healthy communities where everyone can thrive.

Organizations may apply for grants of $20,000 or $40,000, which will be split evenly across two years.

Applications are due by 11:59pm on Tuesday, September 3rd.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The Foundation invites 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations based in Chatham, Durham, Orange and Wake counties to apply.  Religious congregations, governmental agencies, and organizations operating under fiscal sponsorship of a tax-exempt nonprofit are eligible to apply when collaborating with a 501(c)(3) that meets all other criteria.
  • Organizations must meet the Foundation’s non-discrimination policy.
  • Only one application per organization, per grant program, will be considered.
