LOGISTICS: Fall Session: October 14-16, 2016. Fall quarterly meeting will take place at Sierra Friends Center in Nevada City, CA.
CPQM is a gathering of unprogrammed monthly meetings in Northern California and Northern Nevada (list of meetings). It is a part of Pacific Yearly Meeting (PYM). Listening to God’s guidance is our theme for our weekend together. We welcome you to come and listen together with Friends from northern California and Nevada. We will delight in the surroundings of Sierra Friends Center and learn how Spirit is moving among Friends in our meetings. We will consider our theme in Meeting for Worship, in Worship-Sharing, during our Plenary sessions and throughout our time together. We look forward to joining with you as we listen to God’s guidance among Friends of all ages. “There’s something about coming together and listening together to God as a community that is full of life, and full of conflict and challenge, and to me, that’s what makes Quakerism beautiful.” C. Wess Daniels Quaker Speak Season 1.
