CODE313 is pleased to announce our inaugural Charity Dinner & Silent Auction.  We are planning a stellar program that continues our mission to provide equitable access to STEAM education.

Our Master of Ceremonies will be comedian Mike Bonner. With a career spanning two decades, Bonner has featured as a comic on BETs Comicview, Comics Unleashed, writer and performer for P. Diddy Present the Bad Boys of Comedy and a litany of other TV, stage and radio appearances. The music will be provided by the world-famous DJ Chachi, the official DJ of your Detroit Pistons.

We also have an amazing keynote speaker, Jillian Blackwell. Jillian is most passionate about helping women and youth find their unique voice in business and technology, which drove her to establish Friends in Technology, Jill Talk, Brilliant in Business and The C.E.0. Women organizations.

The silent auction will open on our online bidding platform on February 1, 2022. Bidding will close on February 19, 2022 at 8:30 pm at our charity dinner being held in the Lexus Loft at the Henry Ford Detroit Pistons Performance Center. If you would like to support the silent auction by donating an item (or two) please click here.

CODE313 is a STEM.org Accredited™ non-profit organization partnered with Microsoft, dedicated to teaching and inspiring youth ages 7 to 17 to code. Our workshops provide hands-on instruction by volunteers from the Detroit developer community inspired to share their passion. Our curriculum exposes students to analytical problem solving to build anything they might imagine.

Mike Bonner
Comedian and Actor

Bonner is inspired by his experiences as a husband and father on a quest for the ideal nuclear family. His comedy is equally inspired by failures and rock bottom observations from a perspective that give Bonner a Midas touch. His penchant for interpreting life experiences in a way that is universal as much as it is comical has landed him opportunities to perform in front of diverse audiences in his hometown of Detroit and abroad. With a career spanning two decades, Bonner has featured as a comic on BET’s Comicview, Comics Unleashed, writer and performer for P. Diddy Presents the Bad Boys of Comedy and a litany of other TV, stage & radio appearances.
