British Canoeing Coach Award Tutor and Assessor Orientation Event Programme
Dates:
· Day 1 1000 start – 1800 finish
· Day 2 0900 start – 1600 finish
Venue: Eastwood Hall, Eastwood, Nottingham, NG16 3SS
Staff: The programme is staffed by British Canoeing Coach Award Trainers Darryll Shaw and Mike Devlin.
Preparation: Further precourse information, reading and some pre-course tasks will be circulated at least 2-weeks before the orientation event.You will need to allocate some time prior to the event to ensure you are able to complete this essential preparation.
The emphasis of this two day orientation programme is to ensure that potential tutors and assessors understand what is required to deliver and assess the coach award programmes. From this you will be set up to start delivering and working through your action plans (where required).
The programme is classroom based and will not involve water-based activities. Here’s an overview of the content we will be covering:
