Rebbecca Oppedisano is the director of Bluebird Music Together (formerly Green Lakes Music Together). BA in Music Education, MA in Education, is a mother of three young boys and an experienced elementary school music teacher. She sings with the Syracuse Opera chorus, and was awarded the MAKERS award by WCNY for excellence in Arts in 2014. She has taught music at several local preschools, and has been teaching Music Together classes in the Syracuse area since 2007. Rebbecca is proud to be a leader and advocate of early childhood music in the community, through Bluebird Music Together, and beyond!
Come learn how young children develop musically, why early music experiences are important for ALL children, how music can support school readiness as well as lifetime readiness, and how you can use music to help the children you work with! This will be an informative and interactive presentation, giving you valuable information and tools about early childhood music that you can take with you to your field.
