PAYMENTS

After November 19, 2023 successful applicants will receive a congratulatory email with payment notification. Payment for CLP 2024 participants is comprised of two parts: (1) an APALI Program Fee and (2) De Anza College Tuition for a special online course.

APALI Program Fee:

$250 for individuals paying for their own participation.

$450 for sponsoring organizations/employers (per participant).

For low income applicants, self-pay applicants with annual incomes below $78,000, the APALI Program Fee will reduced by $100. However, the full De Anza Tuition is required by the college and cannot be reduced.

De Anza College Tuition

Successful applicants apply online to De Anza College for admission and enroll in ENTH 50 Civic Leadership for Community Empowerment (APALI). Regular CA resident tuition for this special APALI class is approximately $124 with opt out optional fees.

DISCOUNTED PRIORITY DUE DATE:

Successful applicantions received by Discounted Due Date of Nov. 19 receive 10% off for APALI program fee.

Since 2007, APALI has recruited annual cohorts of community leaders and advocates for training in an engaging Civic Leadership Program (CLP) and participating in an impactful alumni network for advancing their civic journeys to build a stronger community. APALI alumni comprise a large percentage of the leadership pipeline for Asian American Pacific Islander, Chicanx/Latinx, and under-represented communities.
