For applications received by the Early Bird due date, accepted applicants will receive an email instructions on registration process after November 6, 2022.

There are two components to the APALI Civic Leadership Program.   Accepted applicants immediately make payment for an APALI Program Fee of $200.  

The second component is a requirement to enroll in De Anza College’s special class ENTH 50 Civic Engagement for Community Empowerment and pay the College a tuition fee of approximately $180 for California residents.

APALI's Civic Leadership Program (CLP) inspires community leaders and activists to gain insight and plan for their futures in a supportive and stimulating environment. CLP alumni comprise a significant leadership pipeline for the AAPI, LatinX, and other under-represented decision-makers in the government, nonprofit, education, and business sectors. The CLP 2023 cohort will be extensively supported by and become a member of the APALI alumni network. Who: For the 18th annual cohort CLP 2023, We are recruiting a vibrant and diverse mix of veteran leaders/executives, mid-level managers/professionals, emerging leaders/advocates intent on advancing their own civic engagement journey. What: APALI's Civic Leadership Program 2023 is a 12-week virtual class. The three focus areas of this acclaimed program will be community, representation and policy. Participants will benefit from an inclusive community, expert speakers, engaging dialog, what are designed to broaden perspectives, build networks, and improve skills in a holistic approach to civic engagement. Additional in-person opportunities include an annual candidate & campaign training and a CLP 2023 networking social with APALI alumni.
