What is this:
This unique 2-hour workshop for ALL AGES covers all the basics needed to start really clowning around! Our guest instructor, Carly Yebba, will guide you through the steps needed to loosen up, build a unique character, and get physically silly!
Who are they:
Carly grew up in the circus life and has had extensive training from multiple sources! She has trained with Big Apple Circus stars and Cirque du Soleil writers Barry Lubin and Mark Gindick as well as working with Ringling, Cirque du Soleil, Big Apple Circus, Circus Hollywood, Circus Hermosa, and World of Wonders side show. She specializes in side show stunts (blockhead, sword swallowing, human pincushion) and circus stunts (juggling, unicycle, rola bola, hat juggling, kettle balls, trapeze, clowning).
What should I bring:
- Comfortable clothing you can move in
- Closed-toed, lace-up shoes
- Water (available for purchase in the lobby for $1)
- A readiness to get SILLY!
