12-week program from January 8 to March 25 on Wednesdays

Class Retreat: Saturday, January 18, 2020, 8:30 - 3:30

Candidates Training (optional):  Sunday, March 15, 2020, 9:00 - 2:00 

-COMMUNITY ENROLLMENT PROCESS- 

1.  Apply Online by Oct 31 for earlybird discount, or as early as possible.  Space limited.

2. APALI PROGRAM FEE Upon acceptance, make payment within two days at the CLP 2020 Registration page.

  • Discounted Program Fee = $100 if applied by Oct. 31
  • APALI Program Fee =  $120 after Oct. 31
  • Note:  For need-based scholarship, please email michaelchang@apali.org

3. Apply to De Anza College for admission at http://www.deanza.edu/ admissions   The Civic Leadership Program is offered as an ICS 55 class in winter quarter 2020.

  • Note:  For “Intended Major”, write  “AAT-Political Science Transfer”
    For “Educational Goal”, write  “Earn a vocational certificate”

4. Contact APALI Program Manager Piper McNulty once you receive your 8-digit DAC Student ID # (ie. CWID):

  • Note: Your Student ID (ie. CWID) is different from the OpenCCC application confirmation number, and takes up to 2 business days to arrive. 
  • Email your Student ID # to Piper McNulty, so that she can enroll you in ICS 55.

5. DE ANZA CLASS FEE Pay De Anza class tuition once you receive a De Anza email that you have been enrolled in ICS 55.

  • Log into MyPortal and go to the "Bill Payment" channel under the Registration tab. Click the "Pay Now" button to view your account.  Regular resident fees for 4 units will be approximately $180.

- REFUND POLICY -

  • APALI Program Fee:  For withdrawal due to unforseen circumstances, 50% of APALI program fee may be refunded only if notified before December 1.
  • De Anza Class Fee: Early deadlines for refunds.  Check De Anza College website.
