Hi Church,
In a year that has been full of changes and dashed plans it is probably fitting that we need to change our plans for our Christmas services. After much discussion, thought and prayer we have decided to do the following:
CHRISTMAS EVE
- 9:30pm livestream our reflective service on our Thornleigh Community Baptist Church facebook page and youtube Channel.
CHRISTMAS DAY
- ONLINE CHURCH as being our main service and way of gathering via Facebook page & Youtube Channel.
- ONE LIVE SERVICE at 9:30am in the Church Auditorium.
At this service there will be no singing, limited mingling, facemasks and the number of people will be limited to 120 people. Register here : https://bit.ly/TCBC-Christmas
If things flare up between now and Christmas day we will cancel this service but if everything remains roughly the same and cases continue to decline we will go ahead with it.
While this will be a very different Christmas celebration, we still believe that we can celebrate the birth of Christ in a joyful, meaningful and life-giving way.
