Whatever your age, fitness level, or previous experience, we would like to invite you to join us Saturday, November 19th from 9:00-11:00 am for a special time of Christian Yoga. Cissy Brady-Rogers of “Alive and Well Women” will be leading us in a session called: “Give Thanks: Strengthening Resiliency through Gratitude.” For about an hour, we will learn how to practice gratitude through embodied prayer. Yoga reduces stress, increases flexibility, and improves respiration, energy, and vitality. It is also a wonderful way to quiet mind and body for the practice of prayer. With the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, our embodied prayer reflections will focus on the theme of gratitude. As we link movements with breath, we will be able to take time away from the chaos of life and give thanks for the goodness God is working in all seasons.
