Chiswick Pier 'Heritage Trail' – An Historic Walk along the Thames from Chiswick to Hammersmith
Join us at Chiswick Pier and take a scenic and historic walk along the Thames Path, from Chiswick to Hammersmith Find out more about the history of some of the buildings along this part of the Thames, and take a new look at the river and its heritage. The walk will start at Chiswick Pier on the Corney Reach Estate and finish at William Morris’ House near Furnivall Gardens, Hammersmith.
The walk, hosted by Chiswick Pier Trust, will start at 11:30 (meet at Pier House) and take no more than an hour to complete. There are plenty of good pubs at the end of the walk to retire to for a well-earned drink, or a spot of lunch. Otherwise, walkers are free to follow the path back to Pier House.
Please wear sensible footwear. Most suitable for adults, but open to all ages.
Meeting point: Chiswick Pier Trust, The Pier House, Corney Reach Way, Chiswick, W4 2UG. Please meet inside Pier House by the fish tank (immediately on your right as your enter). Toilets available at Pier House.
