About the Event

WORKSHOP #1 consists of 4 classes on TUESDAYS from 10am to NOON in the month of JUNE. The classes are: 6/4, 6/18, 6/18, AND 6/25. The classes wil be at HOBBY LOBBY in Decatur.

Learn the Wet on Wet oil painting technique from a Certified Instructor. This workshop is designed for children ages 7 to 12 and consists of 4 classes. Each class, the children will take home a completed work of art as they explore the magic of oil painting.

The class fee is $140, which covers all 4 classes and ALL materials and supplies (although some like to bring their own “wet-wipes”). Classes start promptly at 10:00am and finishes up at NOON.

About the Organizer

Jenny is an experienced painter and a Certified Bob Ross Instructor®. She is a member of the Huntsville Art League, at Lowe Mill. Jenny cultivated an interest and appreciation in the majestic national and state parks of the western US. She loved hiking in the Redwoods at Big Basin State Park, snowball fights at Crater Lake, camping at Yosemite, and wild life watching at Yellowstone. As an ordained minister, she has been on mission trips to Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and the Amazon Jungle of Peru. From photo safaris in Etosha Game Park to floating down the Amazon River, these adventures outside of the US, deepened and expanded her world view and appreciation of the diversity of nature and people. These life experiences are where Jenny derives her inspiration
