About Arthur "Arturo" Cardenas: Guitarist Arthur "Arturo" Cardenas was born in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico on April 13, 1952. In 1973 he got into the University of Guadalajara Music School where he studied classical music, while at the same time he formed his first band "La Wells" and played rock and blues in local clubs and parties for three years, while also studying Industrial Engineering, and continued until he graduated as an engineer in 1978.

BLUES AGAINST HUNGER SOCIETY (BAHS), an organization dedicated to feeding the hungry through the preservation and promotion of blues music. BAHS' mission is to produce free live blues music food drive events for collecting nonperishable food donations for local food banks.
