Emanate International

https://emanateinternational.org/

Emanate International exists to provide answers to these issues and offer sustainable solutions that will affect lasting change, maintained by local individuals, without the intervention of foreign NGOs. We believe the best metric for sustainable success should be the level of autonomy the individual or community “helped” has achieved after support has been given. Emanate International has been created to serve as a resource to encourage nonprofit, NGO, and Social Enterprise leaders to think critically about the execution of their work. This goal will be achieved through offering interviews of current leaders in the field who have found proven methods to ensure their efforts are sustained long-term by the local people, communities, or established entities (public, private, or local non-profit). The interviews serve as valuable case-studies for effective practice and create a network for practitioners in the field to learn from fellow professionals. Additionally, Emanate International will offer additional resources to benefit leaders who want to use best practices in their organizations. Emanate International offers tangible solutions for practitioners and donors to ensure that methodologies carried out by international NGOs provide sustainable solutions that equip the local people to take full ownership of their own progress and needs.
