This event is a dinner and showcase of Fairfield's widely recognized Youth Led Prevention Efforts at Receptions on Boymel Road in Fairfield. Come see a demonstration of how Fairfield youth in grades 7-12 are taking charge of the safety, health and well-being of themselves and their peers through leadership skill development and peer to peer education!
The evening's entertainment will feature skits, games and interactive demonstrations by: Middle School Leaders in Training, Fairfield Freshmen Coalition members, and Fairfield High School's Youth Led Prevention and Peer mentors. The evening will include information about what parents and community members can do to come alongside Fairfield Prevention Coalition in creating a safe, health, drug-free Fairfield in which youth can thrive! We welcome your attendance and support on this special evening!

Fairfield Prevention Coalition is an organization which champions a safe, healthy, drug-free environment in which Fairfield youth can thrive. Over the last 15 years we have reached over 14,000 youth and reduced youth substance abuse by 49%. To achieve this, dedicated Ohio Certified Prevention Specialists have spent 15 years and convening and aligning community leaders and youth across sectors to empower youth well-being and resilience. Regular sharing of information and resources between community sectors (not just the schools) has resulted in: • A framework that allows for cross systems collaboration in Fairfield • Decreased waste of time and resources • A 49% reduction in underage drinking, tobacco use, marijuana use, and prescription drug abuse among fairfield youth grades 7-12 • Opportunities for youth empowerment, leadership skill development, and peer support (14,000 reached) • Increased awareness about challenges youth face among all sectors of the community • Dissemination of accurate and current information flowing to parents, youth and the community Visit our Website for more information: www.fairfieldcoalition.org.
