School Social Workers: Developing Crisis Teams for High Risk Students

School Social Workers design Crisis Teams to assist in the identification, service and treatment for high risk students. Successful Crisis Teams include school nurses, school psychologists, guidance counselors and student assistance coordinators who work within the clinical framework outlined by school social workers. Using research models, protocols and design, the social worker can develop a Crisis Team that is ethically sound and clinically effective.

Learning Objective:

  1. Learner will be able to develop a multiply layered Crisis Team.
  2. Learner will be able to develop the Crisis Team treatment plan based on specific research measures.
  3. Learner will be able to assess the efficacy of the Crisis Team model.

CE certificates will be e-mailed within 7 days of successful completion of the webinar.
