The CCIC/NCIC Hands-On Lab allows new users the opportunity to experience firsthand the intricacies involved with making entries, modifications, clears, and cancellations on hot file entries. Practice entering data into the state and national databases utilizing manuals and databases which show you the easiest path to find what is needed for these entries. This class provides the basic level process and tools to follow CCIC and NCIC policy and procedures.
 
Prerequisite: Requires an active OSN.
 
Please note: this course is limited to current employees and contractors of criminal justice agencies, and is not open to the general public.
