CARTER’S CHESS ONLINE is a one-of-a-kind program designed to engage kids in the magnificent game of chess and extend their decision making and problem-solving skills.
We wish to make EVERY day a CHESS-TACULAR day!
Designed by qualified teachers who genuinely care about creating quality learning experiences. This is an online chess experience that offers daily engagement in ‘normal’ chess matches as well as crazy chess variants. We promote healthy cyber-safety habits and encourage social interaction. Through chess, kids enhance concentration as well as problem solving and deep analysis skills.
We offer:
- Access to 15 chess events each week for the 10 weeks throughout Term Four
- A quality and unique chess program directed by qualified teachers and structured to promote development in chess skills as well as cognitive advancement
- Community engagement through the chat room which is open when a group leader is viewing (who will monitor discussion for safety and privacy protection)
- Opportunity to extend playing skills through SIMUL and SWISS tournaments
- Access to chess coaches should you decide to seek additional lessons
NOTE: participants do need an account with lichess.org (free and private).

Participants registered for Gold Membership will have access to:
* ALL morning, ALL midday and ALL afternoon online events throughout Term 4
Participants will also receive some very special merchandise (i.e. Carter’s Chess merch, Gold Membership access to chesskid.com or their very own tournament-size chess board and pieces!)

Participants registered for Gold Membership will have access to:
