CARING FOR OUR COMMON HOME 
Friday, June 4-Sunday, June 6, 2021

This workshop will center on the issues and implications of ecological and climate change.  It will look at the biblical basis for the commission given to us by a loving God that we are to care for the earth, reflecting on the correct and proper relationship between humanity as caretaker to the rest of creation.  In addition to scripture, you will be asked to read, before the workshop begins:  Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato Si'. Conferences and time for personal private reflection are part of this workshop.

Fr. Aelred Niespolo, OSB has been a monk of Valymero since 2001 and was ordained to the priesthood in 2005.  Having completed the Master of Theology program at Oxford University, he teaches at St. John's Seminary in Camarillo.  He is editor of the Valyermo Chronicle and has served as Director of Oblates.
