Climate change has been called the greatest market failure the world has ever seen. How do we know this? What should we do about it? And what effect might recent developments in the Arctic have on the global bill for climate change?
About the Speaker
Prof Chris Hope is a Professorial Research Associate in Policy Modelling at University College, London and a Reader in Policy Modelling at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
He was a Lead Author and Review Editor for the Third and Fourth Assessment Reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and an advisor on the PAGE model to the Stern review on the Economics of Climate Change.
In 2007, he was awarded the Faculty Lifetime Achievement Award from the European Academy of Business in Society and the Aspen Institute.
