Amy Evans is President of Colibri Insurance Services, a boutique health insurance agency that simplifies employee benefits for employers. She also uses her expertise in the health insurance industry and the health insurance broker market to consult on a variety of projects.
Prior to establishing her agency in 2015, Amy served as a Vice President in the Employee Benefits division of Leavitt Insurance Services of Los Angeles. She has sixteen years of experience in the insurance industry. Amy earned degrees in English and French from the University of San Francisco.
Amy is an active member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and ProVisors. She is also a regular contributor to insurance industry publications and was named as one of EBA’s “Top 10 Industry Trendsetters to Watch” in 2016. Cerrina is a nationally recognized leader in the insurance industry, and a Past President of the Sacramento Association of Health Underwriters.
As an AVP Benefits Consultant with CoreMark Insurance, Cerrina helps her clients design and administer custom employee benefit packages that save money, time and headaches, and also serves on the agency’s marketing team.
Cerrina founded Stellar Stories in 2019, as a compliment to her benefits practice, and consults with employers, business groups, and civic organizations to deliver leadership and management training, dynamic communications and programs, and process management support services.
Cerrina is also a longtime Executive Board member of CAHU.org, and has been honored with many local, state and national awards for her leadership and consumer advocacy. She’s currently serving as CAHU’s VP of Professional Development, as well as Chair of NAHU’s national Chapter Leadership Development Committee. In 2018, she was appointed by Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones to the CA DOI Licensing Curriculum Board.
On a personal note, Cerrina grew up in the Bay Area and transplanted to the Sacramento area in 1994. Cerrina and her husband Aaron have two adult children and two adorable fur babies.
