TAUGHMACONNELL COMMUNITY CENTRE DUNDONNELL , TAUGHMACONNELL , BALLINASLOE, Roscommon, H53V9D7, Ireland.

The National Biodiversity Data Centre run a variety of monitoring schemes on butterflies. We use this data to track the population status of Ireland's butterflies. Join this workshop to learn how to identify Ireland's butterflies and how to monitor them through the National Biodiversity Data Centre. Butterflies are an ideal insect group to monitor as there is a small number of species, have strong associations with foodplants and vegetation types, respond quickly to changes in weather.
