Overview
Business Analysis Street Smarts is the exciting new workshop from Bob the BA who is always looking to help you Think, Learn & Work DIFFERENTLY. This modern workshop goes in a new direction from the standard training courses you have taken. It provides real-world scenarios that give you the what ifs, what could, what should and what you will actually need to do in the real world. Are you faced with increasingly complex challenges, seemingly insurmountable problems, your unique culture, and the unknowns that some days make your job impossible? Perhaps it is the theory and process you follow that did not hold up for your business analysis job. Theory is a great foundation and it is absolutely needed to help make sound decisions but it cannot account for all the unusual and complex situations that business analysts deal with on a daily basis. Just ask a Business Analyst about all the crazy things that have happened to them on the job – some of the stories are funny and some are downright frightening! It is time to learn differently.
This workshop is 100% interactive because it is not about teaching a specific technique or just what the theory would suggest you do. You will be challenged to think through situations strategically, to determine what you need to do in complex situations that go beyond just one technique, one person, or what your system development lifecycle process says you need to do. When you are in the trenches, you must think differently. There are no right answers, just lots of opportunities for great success!
