In response to the opioid overdose deaths in New York State, and in our county, increased access to buprenorphine treatment for opioid overdose disorder is urgently needed. Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants and Medical Residents are welcome and highly encouraged to attend this training. The trainer for this date will be
Dr. Ephraim Back who was recently awarded the 2018 Family Physician Educator of the Year award by the New York State Academy of Family Physicians (NYSAFP), and he will be accompanied by Cynthia Kim, Director of Behavioral Science at The Institute for Family Health, who will contribute a Behavioral Science component to this training.
