Building Skills and Handling Techniques with Joanne Soyke
In the sport of Nosework, finding odor is the easy part, but are you the best team you can be? What role do you play in the search? Are you helping or hindering your dog?
This seminar will work on building skills to make your dog a more efficient searcher. We will also cover different handling techniques that will aid your performance.
Joanne is the owner of Fur Better Fur Worse Dog Training in Rock Island, IL. She started teaching Nosework back in early 2013 and has enjoyed every moment of the journey. Her in depth knowledge of canine behavior allows her to not only teach obedience to odor, but to cater training styles to each individual dog. FBFW students have titled all the way through Elite in NACSW and Masters in UKC trials, however Joanne is most proud of the fun and enjoyment each dog shows when playing this sport.
