This practical workshop is designed to boost the confidence and expertise of doctoral students who assess student work.

 

 In a safe, confidential workshop, we will

 

  • consider our marking challenges, and how to tackle them
  • debate and discuss current thinking in assessment and feedback
  • practice marking and giving feedback, using real assignments
  • share strategies for marking efficiently and effectively.

 

The workshop will be run by a doctoral student and one academic member of staff, with video inputs from other QMU staff members.
