Program Description

This three-hour, intermediate, presentation will provide training and guidance on creating a successful mental health practice. The presenters will go over crucial steps including credentialing, provider enrollment, billing, and revenue cycle management.

 

This program is perferct for mental health practioners, practice administrators, and HR professionals. Providers will learn how to create an efficient credentialing/enrollment process. This program will provide instruction on how to send claims and receive reimbursement from different peyers. During this workshop, providers will be introduced to CAQH,NPPES, I&A, Availity, ERA and EFTs, and Medicare portal.

Learning Objectives:

After attending this intermediate level program participants will be able to:

  • Access structure needed to build a successful mental health private practice
  • Discuss Credentialing & Enrollment processes that impact your revenue cycle
  • Recognize billing processes including service entry, claim submission, and revenue cycle managment

Yesenia is a nationally certified credentialing and enrollment management specialist. Yesenia maintains her own consultancy, YS Credentialing, PLLC where she helps organizations develop and implement best practices guidelines and processes; analyzes revenue cycle management and guides the credentialing and payer enrollment structure. With over 22 years in the healthcare industry, her experience includes Durable Medical Equipment, Hospital & Health Systems, and Community Mental Health Organizations, Global Managed Care organization as well as providing revenue cycle consulting services to various healthcare providers and organizations. Yesenia is a current Team Med Global Collaborator and Faculty, NAMSS member, and is a NAMSS Educational Conference Guest Speaker, a current member of the NAHRI Leadership council. She studied Microeconomics and Communications at NEIU and is currently studying Healthcare Administration at Concordia University Chicago.

She received her Master’s degree from DePaul University in Public Service Management with concentration in Health Care Administration. Anna works as a practice manager for a successful mental health practice. She also has built her medical billing and consulting business, Premier Medical Consulting. Anna is a current trainer for The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and industry consultant and trainer. She enjoys helping providers understand billing and revenue cycle management. Her expertise helps healthcare professionals with accurate and timely billing.Anna loves to travel with her family and practice yoga in her free timcal and dental billing, healthcare administration, and financial management. She received her Master’s degree from DePaul University in Public Service Management with concentration in Health Care Administration. Anna works as a practice manager for a successful mental health practice. She also has built her medical billing and consulting business, Premier Medical Consulting.
