The 2022 BSides Charlotte Conference Theme
The past few years have seen the introduction and growth of misinformation, disinformation, and outright malicious information. This all happening in conjunction with a new challenging reality of ongoing year’s long pandemic impacts. Being in security can often be more than just 1’s and 0’s and keyboard skills. We certainly still want to see cool and clever things that you’ve discovered or worked on that you believe are a value to the greater community. However, we want to put focus on some non-tech, non-traditional topics this year focusing on information, privacy, OSINT, personal security, how these things may affect careers and hiring and other related topics. This is why our theme this year is Spy x Spy and our keynote will be related to media and information topics and how they can affect us all, even in the security space.
