In this fantastic Book-Binding workshop, you will learn all the skills needed to make your own hardback, leather spine classical book, and all out of scrap materials!
The course covers all different binding and covering techniques, and step-by-step instruction and support is given throughout by our Book-Binding tutor, Cass, resulting in a beautiful covered notebook for you to take home.
All materials and tools are provided, and instructions will be given out so that you can make even more unique and handcrafted upcycled books from the comfort of your own home.

The Edinburgh Remakery is a brand new project based in the heart of Leith, led by social enterprise Remade in Edinburgh. It offers to its customers, retail and workspace areas, with a focus on quality products and services, where they are able to: -Buy refurbished computers and second-hand furniture. -Donate second hand technology, textiles and furniture. -Learn to fix textiles, computers, mobile phones, and furniture??. -Participate in skill-learning workshops and courses. The Edinburgh Remakery provides affordable and well-designed creative opportunities for individuals and groups; including workshops, free events, and training. Working in partnership with the University of Edinburgh and CHAI, The Edinburgh Remakery is one of five RE-use and Repair Hubs located throughout Scotland, which has been made possible with funding granted by Zero Waste Scotland.
