Come experience the joy of painting at HOBBY LOBBY in BIRMINGHAM on Saturday, SEPT 28. No experience is required. Come learn the wet-on-wet oil painting technique made popular by Bob Ross ® on his PBS show The Joy of Painting ® from a Certified Bob Ross Instructor.

Take home a completed painting. The class fee is $55 if pre-paid (PRIOR to 9/24) OR $65 (if paid on day of class), which includes all materials and supplies, EXCEPT for the canvas. Students will need to bring a 16x20 inch canvas to class. Please consider buying your canvas at Hobby Lobby, to show appreciation for allowing us to use their classroom. Class starts promptly at 9:30am and finishes up by 3:30pm. We will take a short lunch break around noon.

Advance registration is REQUIRED. You can either register online OR by calling 256-509-1161. When registering online, you can either choose to pay the day of class ($65 cash/check) OR you can choose to pre-pay ($55 - NON-REFUNDABLE) Note: If paying online, Eventzilla charges a $1.25 fee.

Jenny is an experienced painter and a Certified Bob Ross Instructor®. She is a member of the Huntsville Art League, at Lowe Mill. Jenny cultivated an interest and appreciation in the majestic national and state parks of the western US. She loved hiking in the Redwoods at Big Basin State Park, snowball fights at Crater Lake, camping at Yosemite, and wild life watching at Yellowstone. As an ordained minister, she has been on mission trips to Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and the Amazon Jungle of Peru. From photo safaris in Etosha Game Park to floating down the Amazon River, these adventures outside of the US, deepened and expanded her world view and appreciation of the diversity of nature and people. These life experiences are where Jenny derives her inspiration
