This practical workshop takes place over 10 weekday evenings (on the following days in 2017: Mar 22, 29, Apr 5, 19, 26 May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31) and will teach you how to trade cryptocurrencies for fun and profit!

Who should attend this workshop? Day traders, FOREX traders, and anybody who already trades in the financial markets. Anyone who wants to get started in cryptocurrency trading. Programmers and technologists who want to leverage their skills. Also, business line managers and IT managers in finance who want to understand digital asset trading (cryptocurrencies are just the beginning of digital asset trading) and its future impact; IT staff responsible for the development and deployment of enterprise trading systems; devops, quants, software developers, sysadmins, security and cyber-security, risk and compliance people; business development and technology strategists in banking and finance who are responsible for planning the future direction of the enterprise; students and academics wanting to broaden their expertise in financial markets; lawyers and regulators who need to understand the technical details of digital asset trading to better do their jobs; in fact, anyone who wants to truly understand cryptocurrency trading and its implications.

It has been said the cryptocurrency market is small and not worth the effort; too small to make serious money. That may currently be true for the Goldman Sachs of the world, but for individuals it is certainly the case that you can make $100's or $1,000's a day; and that can be mostly passive income if you take the effort to set up a trading system. Also, just because something is small now doesn't mean it will always be small; just a decade or two ago the Chinese economy was nowhere to be see, and look at it now! Things change. And quickly.

This workshop is based in part on the cryptocurrency and blockchain module that is taught as part of the Baruch Masters in Financial Engineering (MFE) course (ranked #2 best financial engineering program, https://www.quantnet.com/mfe-programs-rankings/) that prepares graduates for jobs in banking and finance on Wall Street.
