Bike Around Fairfield Loop Trial Annual Fun Ride (BAFLTAFR)

About The Ride

Join us for our 2nd Annual Bike Around the Fairfield Loop Trail Annual Fun Ride. Just like the concept of a walking tour, we will take you on a biking adventure on the trails unlike any you have done before. We will have short informational stops along our 15.9 mile Loop Trail. Come explore the many microenvironments as you roll through gently sloping hills, conifer forests, wetlands, cornfields, creeks, lakes, and deciduous forests. At each juncture, meet a knowledgeable guide who will tell you something about the local nature or community you didn’t already know! There will be snacks and water along the route along with SAG support if you need it.

 In addition, the folks at the Maasdam Barns (which is along the trail) will have the Barns open for tours and you might even see a farm animal or two.

This ride also coincides with the annual Trails Council Scavenger Hunt. Punch cards will be available at the registration table if you would like to take part as you ride.  You will be looking for unique punch tools along the trail to fill up your card. Turn it back in for a chance to win prizes! The Scavenger Hunt is a free event.

Cash registration will be available on the day of the event if you did not sign up beforehand and want to show up the day of.

Registration is from 9 AM – 10 AM at Howard Park in Fairfield.

$20 per rider for 13 years or older. 12-year-olds and under ride for free. 20% discount for groups of three or more paid riders (online only, not available at registration table day of the event).

Each paid rider will receive a $5 gift card to be used that day at the Famers Market in Howard Park where the ride will begin and end. So go pick up some homemade goods, baked goodies, and/ or fresh veggies to take home with you either before or after your ride. The Farmer’s Market will be open from 8 AM to 1 PM.
